About Me
My name is Elizabeth Briggs. With over 15 years of experience in K–6 education, I specialize in early childhood literacy and reading intervention. I hold a Multi-Subject Teaching Credential from Sonoma State University. Currently, I work as a public school Reading Intervention Teacher, I design targeted, individualized instruction to help students strengthen foundational skills, accelerate reading progress, and build academic confidence.
I am trained in evidence-based phonics programs, including SIPPS (Systematic Instruction in Phonological Awareness, Phonics, and Sight Words) and Anita Archer’s REWARDS, with extensive experience leading small-group instruction in both reading and mathematics.
I love what I do. I believe in meeting each learner where they are, celebrating their progress, and empowering them to see themselves as capable, confident, lifelong learners.
